For the last three months I’ve been working at JACK fm in Berkshire as wait for it, it’s a rather long title “Promotions Coordinator, Sales and Programming Assistant”.
My role has varied massively from managing social media accounts, writing content for the website, editing idents, contacting listeners, writing risk assessments, attending events, conducting audience research, checking hourly clocks, integrating adverts and the coolest of them all has to be when I went up in JACK’S Eye (the station helicopter) and read the travel one day! I absolutely loved the people at JACK and really enjoyed myself.
However after three months I have handed in my notice as I have been offered a job at SAM fm in Swindon… I’m going to be a presenter (a.k.a the dream). I shall be joining Carl Hughes on the Breakfast Show as his Co-Host!
I am absolutely buzzing, so make sure you download the app and tune in!!
