After months of saying I didn’t want to do it and that I couldn’t do it, yesterday I ran 10K.
It may sound big headed, but I am so proud of myself for actually completing it and crossing the finish line.
For the last few months I have been training with a group of listeners and yesterday my team and I did it. I managed to run the race in 01:06:17, I’d love to say I did it in style but I was sick at the finishing line (classy I know). Unfortunately despite beating Carl’s time, his team were faster.

But I managed to raise nearly £700 for Kidney Wales and I made some great friends too.
I urge you to push yourself and step outside your comfort zone as it feels great and more importantly it’s more of an excuse to eat curry!
